Ok, so the name is a bit tongue in cheek….you may or may not be wondering why we came up with our trading name? Well, as children, as well in later life, every time our Fathers or nowadays our boyfriends or husbands announced they were getting a new car…guess what the most popular 1st question we asked…yes you’ve got it girls it was What colour is it? We are sure most of you have said it, and well we thought it was a bit catchy, bit fun hence the name was born!

So, who are we? Well we are based in the delightful countryside in a village called Bakewell in Derbyshire. You might have heard of the famous Bakewell puddings (or maybe tarts!), well that’s where we are. We are the sister company (literally) of one of the UK’s largest internet car providers, who are members (proud we are told!) of the Retail Motor Industry Federation, the industry’s governing body.

Why were we formed? Well, in a nutshell, how many times have you been in a car showroom, car supermarket or even trying to buy a car from the paper and the salesmen wouldn’t talk to you, patronised you or blatantly ignored you? Especially if you are with a man? Well it happened to me personally when I tried to buy a car, I couldn’t believe it, how rude. After talking it over with some friends and colleagues, who had shared the same similar experiences, I decided, lets do something about this.

So here we are! We are here to give you honest advice, answers to questions and to help you in buying your next car. What is even better is that we will save you loads of money on the recommended retail prices of the cars we sell too!! So the best of both worlds, a female based company in a male dominated industry, saving you literally thousand of pounds on your next car, whilst being treated honestly, with respect and most importantly first!!
